Electric Scooter - Mini vs. Smart

Both MINI and Smart unveiled electric scooter concepts at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

While I love and lust for a customized MINI, I am not crazy about the design aesthetic applied to their Mini Scooter E Concept. It's too much going on for me. I much prefer the simplicity of the Smart Escooter. Both feature the iPhone 4 as its control interface, although MINI's has a cover that protects it from the elements while Smart's is exposed.

I've been wanting to get a Vespa scooter for quite some time now, but haven't had good reason to pull the trigger. It would be a tough decision between a Vespa and a cool electric scooter though.
