hello!

As a Product + Color Designer, I am curious and enjoy looking at everything, from packaging to furniture to fashion design. I love to touch and feel objects, travel and experience new cultures, and I'm a huge foodie.

This blog is about what inspires me and experiences from all five senses that I enjoy the most, plus some bits and insights of my design process.

Sweet Paul's Whisk Lamp

Here's a guide on how to make your own whisk lamp from Sweet Paul.

Also noticed a cluster of these lamps above the stairway at Anthropologie in San Francisco.

Sweet Paul now has a gorgeous online magazine featuring amazing photography, recipes, craft ideas, and more. Love it!

Tomas Alonso - Bottle Light

Height adjustable light using cantilever system. Clever design using simple forms and materials of wood and ceramic. Bottle Light is flexible as a table, floor or wall lamp.

Tomas Alonso's other work includes the two below:

1. A side table
2. Mr. light series

Star Collection by Constance Guisset

MAISON ET OBJET from Constance Guisset on Vimeo.

I really was not drawn to this lighting design until I watched the video clip. The way it interacts with the wind outdoors is romantic!

Part of the Star Collection by French designer Constance Guisset in collaboration with turkish architect Gül Gulven for the Institut Français d’Ankara in Turkey. All furniture designed for the space is limited to wood and metal and are all produced by local craftsmen.

Various artists show how furniture interacts with our daily lives. These are couple of my favorites. This exhibit already ended in July, but the limited edition works from the show are available for sale online.
